Praise the Lord

Praise the Lord! God has performed so many miracles for me since I had been fasting and praying. One of my miracles happened while I was on my job. I work as a part-time sales consultant for Carmax in Laurel, Maryland. As a sales consultant, I must sell a minimum of six cars each month. I was told by my associates that January is a travailing month for most car dealerships because most people don't look to purchase cars after Christmas. I began to pray and ask God for help. In the beginning, I sold three cars. Thereafter, I wasn't able to sell a car for weeks. The end of the month was approaching and I had a deficit of three cars. I went to work almost everyday and just as the associates stated no one was buying a car. On the last Saturday in January, I went to work and ended up with zero cars. I left Carmax and went to church to attend my ministry class meeting. After class I stayed for the breaking of the fast then headed back to Carmax. It was snowing and the devil told me that no one would be buying a car in the snow. I rebuked him and proceeded to Carmax. When I arrived most of the sales consultants had gone home. One hour passed before one customer walked into the showroom. When I greeted the customer, she started to share how the people across the street had deserted her. She went on to say that she just wanted her car appraised. While waiting for her appraisal, I took her on a test drive. She loved the car but wanted to think about it and come back tomorrow. I gave her my card and I told her that I don't work on Sundays but I would meet with her on tomorrow. I left Carmax that night without selling a car. The next day my customer called me right after service and she told me that the car we test droved was sold that morning.
We still met and she was able to choose another car. I finally sold my fourth car on the last day of the month. I thanked God. It was now an hour before closing and God sent me a couple. They purchased a car and now I had sold my fifth. I was truly thankful even though I was still short another car. As I was gassing up the couple's new vehicle, I said to myself all I need is one more car. It was late and Carmax was officially closed. While I was speaking it, little did I know that God was working it out. When I went back inside of Carmax the doors were still opened and two gentlemen came straight to me and said, “Are you a salesperson? We want to buy a truck.” I looked toward heaven and said thank you Lord for car number six! I was in awe and couldn't believe what was happening. I just received a miracle from God -- In one day, I had sold three cars and made my quota! In addition to selling the cars, I got an opportunity to witness. To God Be The Glory!
