God is Good
I had plans to attend graduate school last year, but due to some health issues I decided to wait for a year. Well, as most of you are aware it is very hard to get into college especially grad school, so last year I went through the application process and was accepted at Howard University and University of Maryland at Baltimore/UMAB for the Master of Social Work program. Well, after sitting out these past few months I decided that I would not let my health get the best of me, so I reapplied to UMAB. Once again I had to go through the prospective student process and reapply. One of my old professor's asked me if I knew what my chances were of being accepted again because UMAB is one of the top schools for their Social Work program, which makes it very hard to get into the program. I remembered saying to my professor that I was not going to be pessimistic but be optimistic over all things and not worry about it but instead pray. From that point forward I had faith that it was meant for me to attend grad school and that I would receive my acceptance letter in the mail very soon. I received my acceptance letter in the mail on May 12th. The Lord has truly been good to me. In addition, as I mentioned earlier I have been dealing with some health issues for a while.
I sent a Oral Roberts’ Daily Guide message out to everyone on June 1st titled EXPECTING A MIRACLE. I had a procedure at Doctor's Hospital on June 2nd. I went to the hospital in faith and prayed for a miracle in my body. After my doctor did the procedure and I was put in a room to rest for a while my doctor came to check on me. My doctor told me that he could no longer find the problem he had found in previous months in my body. As he told me the good news, I just smiled because I knew it was nothing but the Lord that healed me. I wanted to share my news with everyone because I believe if the Lord can bless me then He will surely do the same for you. Be blessed and make a difference in someone else's life by sharing your blessings. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV
