Welcome To Our Bible Study Resources Page.
Currently, we are sharing a four part bible study series on “THE MINISTRY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT” taken from our School
of the Word classes, a very important topic for the body of Christ today.
To get the best out of the studies, we advice that you take each part of the series one day at a time, go through all
the scripture references quoted and commit the memory verse to memory by constantly repeating the verse to yourself
(meditation) until you can recite it without looking at the script.
Finally, use the link below to send your questions or comments to the Bible Study teacher.
We pray the teaching has a positive impact in your life as you study with us.

INTRODUCTION
The Bible clearly defines that God is One and yet in three persons – God, the Father, God the Son and God the Holy
Spirit (or Holy Ghost). The three different personalities of God each have a unique attribute and responsibility yet
they work together as one to carry out God’s divine purpose.
In the New Testament, which began in the book of Acts after Jesus Christ cut a new covenant for us. The most prominent
personality of God is the Holy Spirit. The church therefore needs to study the personality and ministry of the Holy
Spirit in order to enjoy the benefits of the New Covenant.
1. THE HOLY SPIRIT IS A PERSON. John 14:16-17. Here the Holy Spirit is referred to as another comforter like Jesus and He abide with you forever.
He is not a dove.
He is not a force, nor fire, nor wind, nor tongues.
When we become filled or baptized with the Holy Ghost, Somebody (the Spirit of God) now lives within us.
The Holy Spirit speaks. Acts 13:2
The Holy Spirit can be grieved. Ephesians 4:30-31.
The Holy Spirit teaches. John 14:25.
2. THE HOLY SPIRIT IS GOD’S PROMISE TO EVERY BELIEVER.
Acts 2:38-39, Matthew 3:11, Mark 1:8, Luke24: 49, John 1:32, Acts1: 5,8.
The
major promise of the believer in the New Testament is that they will be baptized
in the Holy Spirit. Jesus paid the price for our sins. So now we have become clean enough to be filled with the Spirit of God.
3. THE HOLY SPIRIT IS A GIFT FROM GOD. Acts 2:38-39
You don’t have to work for it.
You don’t have to tarry for it.
You don’t have to earn it.
All you really need to do is to ask and receive the gift by faith. Luke 11:9-13
